MEDIATION

mediation ipswich

In almost all cases involving matrimonial finance and Private Law cases involving children there is now an expectation that the interested parties will have first sought to resolve their differences amicably - thus avoiding the need for a court imposed settlement.

This is often referred to as Dispute Resolution, of which Mediation is perhaps the best known example. Mediation is a voluntary and confidential process by which the interested parties meet with a Mediator to see if they can find an agreed resolution to their problems. If an agreement is reached it can be backed up by a Court Order if appropriate.

Many of our team are trained Mediators and accept referrals from Solicitors, other Mediators and private clients.
